Trappers help save South Africa’s
Easter Bunny

There are only two rabbit species that are endemic to South Africa and one is seriously endangered. The Riverine Rabbit. Only a few of these cute rabbits remain and in some area’s they have disappeared completely.
During the month of April the 24 Trappers stores around the country took it on themselves to make consumers aware of the plight of the Riverine Rabbit by running an awareness campaign in their stores. In order to help save South Africa’s Easter Bunny, Trappers agreed to contribute a percentage of their turnover to the Endangered Wild Life Trust Riverine Rabbit Project and have handed over a cheque of over R20 000.

As the Essential Outdoor gear store, Trappers are committed to doing what ever it takes to ensure that South Africa does not loose any more of its wild life.

Trappers Ngoje Trail Run in Richards Bay

This was the first race event held by the organizers. Only 40 entrants.
However, this promises to be a very popular event from all the comments made after the race.
